CAREER HIGHLIGHT(S):
Before his sky-rocketing breakthrough in the Arab world, L'Abidine enjoyed a successful career in international productions, such as SEX AND THE CITY 2 (2010), BLACK FOREST (2012), THE LOOMING TOWER (2018) and THE EDDY (2020). His made his directorial debut with the Tunisian film GHODWA (2021) that premiered at the Cairo International Film Festival and won a FIPRESCI prize.

TWELVE-MONTH HIGHLIGHT(S):
Dhafer has finished shooting his Saudi-set feature BACK HOME, in which he starred, wrote, directed and co-produced with MBC Studios. His directorial debut GHODWA streamed on Netflix and brought him the Acting Award at the Arab Film Festival Rotterdam. He headed the juries of the Red Sea Festival’s 48hr Film Challenge last June and Hollywood Arab Film Festival this May.
