His most recent feature film HUDA’S SALON premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and got positive feedback including a big deal with IFC to distribute the film in North America that was struck with world sales agent Memento. However, the film sparked anger among more conservative and religious segments of Palestine for what they felt were profane scenes. Hany also contributed a short film for the Netflix romantic 8-part anthology, LOVE, LIFE AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN, joining several other key Arab filmmakers.
