The last twelve months have been bittersweet for Italia Film which mourned the death of its founding father, Joseph Vincente, in the same month it celebrated becoming the first distribution company to cross the two million admissions mark in Saudi Arabia (where it was the first distributor to receive a license in 2018). Founded in 1962, Italia draws its strength from being the sole distributor in the Middle East of Disney and Marvel films. Its biggest recent hits have all come from this Hollywood powerhouse, including CRUELLA, SOUL, FREE GUY, JUNGLE CRUISE and BLACK WIDOW. Following his father’s passing at the age of 92, Carlo Vincente is now the new CEO of a company whose distribution footprint extends beyond the Arab-speaking world to Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and India.
