Hana Al Omair
Hana directed and co-wrote Saudi Arabia's first Netflix original series, WHISPERS, an eight-episode story
about businessman who dies in an accident, leaving his family to piece together his mysterious past. This
eight-episode story was a novelty in a region more accustomed to the 30-part Ramadan series format. After
her 2019 short film SWAN SONG won the Golden Palm Tree Award for best actor at the Saudi Film Festival, Hana
also received a $500,000 production grant the following year from the Red Sea International Film Lodge for
her Saudi feature project SHARSHAF.
