The best-known Saudi filmmaker after her 2012 Venice festival sensation WADJDA stormed the art-house world and grossed more than $7 million globally. Her latest feature film THE PERFECT CANDIDATE, premiered in Venice in 2019. She’s working on three new film projects: LET IT GO based on Dame Stephanie Shirley’s life story, THE SELECTION based on a novel by Kiera Kass and MISS CAMEL which will be animation.
